We all make mistakes, anything from being late to a meeting to entrusting a person to do a job they are not suitable for. Usually, no mistake can be such that can not be solved, often a simple conversation or a carefully worded email can undo the damage, yet if you have ever felt you made mistakes it may feel like the end of the world.
So how do we go about managing the mistakes without feeling negative about correcting them? Or how do we even identify the mistakes before they are too late to correct?
We ask Alan Forrest Smith to share his experience.
Some of the questions asked were…
- How do you manage the mistake if you hired a “wrong” person to manage the salon?
- What do you do if the stylist makes a hair mess and the client goes mad?
- Could investing in certain salon software become a problem?
- How do we manage the mistake of focussing on the least profitable area of our salon business?
